PANELISTS
ANTHONY LAZZARO
In this chapter, Anthony Lazzaro runs an experiential production company where they focus on design and fabrication for clients like Nike, Shopify, Lil Yachty, Kids of Immigrants, Wu-Tang Clan and more. His work is grounded in the same two instincts, the first does it pose a creative challenge, and the second, has it been done before?
Anthony's career has moved across live events, music, tech, venture, and biotech, but the throughline has always been the same: creating experiences that bring people together. He got his start as a Red Bull Student Brand Manager before serving as National Event Director for Dayglow/Life in Color, where he launched the brand's first national college tour and scaled it to more than 70 festivals annually ahead of its acquisition. He went on to expand into artist and tour management and large-scale brand activations. Outside entertainment, he spent five years driving healthcare innovation at Spectrum Health and later joined LUMINAS, a California biotech product focused on pain relief, where he helped fuel significant revenue growth and secure investment.
Anthony is deeply invested in community and mentorship, with board and advisory roles at organizations including Central Michigan University, Make-A-Wish, and the YMCA, and as a judge and mentor for university startup incubators across Michigan.
BRITT TURPACK
Britt Turpack is a mental health speaker, well-being expert, and founder of BE WELL WITH BRITT, an initiative that has positively impacted more than 28,000 college women in the last three years, providing them with practical mental health tools and resources.
For nearly a decade, Britt has worked with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), bringing mental health education to schools, universities, workplaces, and communities nationwide.
Through her keynotes and signature wellness experiences, Britt combines powerful conversation with Pilates, breathwork, mindfulness, and reflection—turning mental wellness into something audiences can actually practice.
A trained Pilates instructor, yoga teacher, and certified breathwork facilitator, Britt also teaches pilates, breathwork, and workplace wellness for Alo Yoga.
Her message is simple: how we lead, connect, and perform starts with how we lead ourselves.
EMILY GRAY
Emily Gray is the founder of The M Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps change the way people relate to their mental health through popular culture. Mindfulness and meditation are critical tools in the organization’s work, offering ways to create space from our thoughts and relate differently to ourselves, our minds, one another, and the world around us.
The M Project was born from Emily’s own experience with mental health and loss. After navigating mental health challenges and discovering meditation as a practice she believes saved her life, Emily lost two close friends to suicide within one year. Those experiences inspired her to explore how the tools that had so profoundly changed her own relationship with her mind could reach people in ways that felt accessible, relevant, and connected to the culture they already engage with.
The M Project’s first initiative is the Music & Mental Health Project, a conversation series with major musicians exploring the relationship between their music and their mental health. Each experience pairs an intimate live performance with a conversation about mental health, the stories behind the music, and how artists’ lived experiences shape what they create.
Outside of her nonprofit work, Emily consults with mental health-aligned brands and leads meditation experiences for individuals, organizations, and events, bringing a holistic perspective informed by mindfulness, meditation, somatic practice, yoga, and a mental health lens.
